We propose a possible scheme for the baryon trajectories which have large effects on the description of meson-baryon scattering at high energy. Based on the model, the amplitudes for the forward K^-p→π^-Σ^+ reaction are studied in order to test the predictions of duality diagrams that cannot be derived from the simple duality doncept. It is shown that the predictions are not inconsistent with the results obtained by estimation of the direct-channel resonant amplitude.
