K^+-p Elastic Scattering at 3.5 and 5 GeV/c

K^+-p elastic scattering at 3.5 and 5 GeV/c is described in terms of the amplitudes due to the diffraction, p-exchange and hyperon-exchange. By using this model we can well explain the experimental results for dσ/dQ. Moreover, it is pointed out that the properties of dσ/dQ in a region from cos θ=-0.4 to -0.7 depend strongly on the-interference between the amplitudes due to the p-exchange and hyperon-exchange. Polarization of recoil protons in forward scattering is predicted with the same model.
