Masked depression(仮面うつ病)のScreening testとしての質問票(SRQ-D)について

We have designed the screening test for masked depression which is called SRQ-D in comparing with 200 normal subjects and 50 cases of masked depression.The results were as follows1) The mean SRQ-D scores of normal subjects were 8.6±4.0 in contrast with 19.1±3.7 of masked depression.There were significant differences (p<0.01) between two groups.2) The mean SRQ-D scores of normal subjects in males were 8.2±4.2 in contrast with 18.7±4.3 of masked depression.Also mean SRQ-D scores of normal subjects in females were 8.7±3.7 in contrast with 19.5±3.0 of masked depression.3) There were no significant differences between males and females in masked depression.4) There were significant differences (p<0.05) between two groups in each questionnaire items except 6 control questions.5) A self-rating questionnaire for depression (SRQ-D) is useful for the screening test of masked depression.
