• A total 37 of terpenoid esters and phenyl-geranyl-ethers with different alkylsubstituents were newly synthesize as stereisomeric mixtures, and their biological activities were assayed using allatectomized fourth instar larvae of Bombyx mori. The chain length of some alkyl substituents of these compounds was highly correlated with the biologial activity. The relationship between the chemical structure and the biological activity of these compounds was discussed.
