水中歩行中の血漿量の変化 : 陸上歩行との比較

The purpose of this study was to compare plasma volume changes during water walking vs treadmill walking at the same posture and relative intensity Six healthy male college students (18.8±0.7yr) participated in this study. At rest and during exercise, oxygen intake (V0_2) and heart rate (HR) were measured each minute. Also body weight was measured before and after both walkings Venous blood, taken after 20min of rest in sitting position and during both walkings in standing position, was analyzed for hemoglobin concentration (Hb) and hematocrit values (Hct) Percent changes in plasma volume (%PV) were calculated from the Hb and Hct, using the formula of Dill and Costill. During both walkings, V0_2 showed a similar values, but responses of HR was lower during water walking than treadmill walking Decrease of body weight after treadmill walking was significantly greater than water walking (p<0.01). Hb and Hct at 30 and 60 min of both walkings were significantly higher than resting values (p<0.05). At 30 and 60min during both walkings, there were decrease of %PV, but water walking induced significantly lower decrease of %PV than treadmill walking at 30min (p<0.05), furthermore remained lower at 60 min, but not significant. These results suggest that decrease of %PV during water walking is significantly lower than during treadmill walking at the same intensity, which is impossible accompanied by not only sweat with exercise and loss of %PV with change in posture, but also hemodilution associated with immersion during water walking.
