We present the antioxidative effects of licoisoflavones A and B and sophoraisoflavone A in Sophora mooracroftiana BETH ex BAKER on lipid peroxidation by superoxide. Although antioxidative effect of licoisoflavone B was stronger than that of genistein as a related isoflavone, antioxidative effects of licoisoflavone A and sophoraisoflavone A were weaker than that of genistein. However, those ratios of antioxidative effects on supeoxide generation was licoisoflavone A > licoisoflavon B > sophoraisofalvone A,genistein.
