^<45>Ca^<2+> binding to Na^+, K^+-ATPase and activities of Na^+, K^+-ATPase and K^+-dependent phosphatase were examined on the 2M NaI treated microsomal preparation from guinea pig kidney to analyze the inhibition of PMS+VC on Na^+, K^+-ATPase and K^+-dependent phosphatase activities. The PMS+VC treated enzyme preparation which showed the inhibition of the enzyme activities proved to be the same ability of Ca^2+ binding as control enzyme preparation. The action site of PMS+VC on the membrane preparation was discussed from the results and suggested to be on protein moiety and not on phospholipid moiety in the membrane.
