Electrical conductivity and thermoelectric power have been measured for (BEDT-TTF)<SUB>3</SUB>(ClO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>. The electrical conduction is two-dimensional in the be plane. The metal–insulator transition temperature is lowered by pressure at a rate of −8 K kbar<SUP>−1</SUP>. The negligible thermopower at high-temperatures indicates that (BEDT-TTF)<SUB>3</SUB>(ClO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB> is the system with large on-site Coulomb repulsion.
