• The acid-catalyzed ring-opening of 9-ethoxycarbonyl-9-aza-bicyclo[6.1.0]nonane (<B>1</B>) and-4-nonene (<B>2</B>) is reported to give normal products <B>3a</B> and <B>11a</B>, respectively, together with several transannular products.
