• The fundamental and second harmonic responses of the Zn(II)/Zn(Hg) electrode agreed with the theory with respect to the phase angle. The ekinetic parameters of the systems were: <I>k</I><SUB>s</SUB>=(2.8±0.3)×10<SUP>−3</SUP>cm/s, α=0.30±0.05 in 1 M NaClO<SUB>4</SUB> and <I>k</I><SUB>s</SUB>=(3.3±0.3)×10<SUP>−3</SUP> cm/s, α=0.27±0.03 in 1 M KCl.
