The stability constants of nickel(II) complexes in 1 mol dm<SUP>−3</SUP> sodium perchlorate media were determined at 25 °C by means of a solvent extraction method. The values thus obtained for logβ<SUB>1</SUB> and logβ<SUB>2</SUB> are: 0.0 and no second complex (Cl<SUP>−</SUP>), 1.1 and 1.6 (SCN<SUP>−</SUP>), 1.0 and 1.4 (SO<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>2−</SUP>), 0.9 and 1.3 (S<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB><SUP>2−</SUP>), and 3.7 and 6.6 (C<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>2−</SUP>), respectively.
