UV-irradiation of bis(<I>t</I>-butyl isocyanide)dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine) ruthenium(II) brings about isomerization. The composition of the photo-stationary state is wavelength-dependent. A mechanism <I>via</I> the photoelimination of triphenylphosphine is proposed.
