• The reactions of dimethylsulfonium methylide with (<I>E</I>)-aldoxiroes and (<I>E</I>)-ketoximes proceeded smoothly at room temperature and gave moderately good yields of <I>O</I>-methyl (<I>E</I>)-aldoximes and <I>O</I>-methyl (<I>E</I>)-ketoximes, respectively. A possible scheme for the formation of <I>O</I>-methyl (<I>E</I>)-oximes has been discussed.
