The clinical and roentogenographic findings in a case of congenital bowing of the long bones with multiple skin dimples in arms and legs are described. The patient had no other severe anomalies except mild change of narrow thorax. All clinical and radiological abnormalities seem to improve with age.Caffey (1947) reported the first three cases of this syndrome and propounded the theory of mechanical origin. On the other hand, Conway (1958) and Hall (1979) reported an identical type of this syndrome in two siblings.The term "Campomelic syndrome" covers a heterogenous group of different conditions of different etiology. We propose the nomenclature "Benign Campomelic Syndrome" for this benign type of campomelia.
