A case report of aneurysmal bone cyst of the patella.

Tumors of the patella are uncommon, and aneurysmal bone cysts there are very rate. We had a case of an aneurysmal bone cyst of the patella. The patient was a 25-year-old female. She complained of pain and slight swelling of the right patella of 2 years' duration which followed minor injury. A radiograph showed a multiloculated cyst like lesion. The patella was found to be cavitated and filled with unclotted blood. Histological diagnosis was an aneurysmal bone cyst. The cavity was curetted and filled with bone graft.
