Pharmacokinetic studies on distribution of Latamoxef(LMOX) to oral tissues of human.

A dose of 2g LMOX was administered to 30 patients by one-shot intravenous injection. The distribution to oral tissues (maxillary bone, mandibular bone, gingiva, cyst wall) of LNIOX and its pharmacokinetic analysis were performed. The results could be summarized as follows: 1. Serum concentrations of LNIOX were 150.35μg/ml, 97.8μg/ml, 13.80μg/ml at 0.5, 1, 6 hours after injection, respectively, and T 1/2 (β) was 111 minutes. 2. The ranged concentrations of LMOX in the maxillary bone, mandibular bone, gingiva and cyst wall were 10%, 15%, 33%, 39% respectively, of the corresponding serum value. 3. Among oral tissues, the highest concentration was obtained in the cyst wall and followed by gingiva, maxillary bone, mandibular bone. 4. The highest AUC index was obtained in the cyst wall and followed by gingiva, mandibular bone, maxillary bone.
