Deformation Effect on Total Reaction Cross Sections for Neutron-Rich Ne-Isotopes(YKIS2011 papers, Frontier Issues in Physics of Exotic Nuclei)

We perform parameter-free analyses for measured reaction cross sections of the scattering of ^<28-32>Ne from a ^<12>C target at 240 MeV/nucleon within a fully microscopic framework based on the double folding model. In the model, the Melbourne g-matrix is used and the projectile density is calculated by antisymmetrized molecular dynamics (AMD). For ^<31>Ne, the tail correction is made to the AMD density by combing AMD with the resonating group method. The measured cross sections of ^<28-32>Ne are well reproduced by this framework. The ground state structure of ^<31>Ne is determined.
