The ^6Li breakup is treated with the coupled-discretized-continuum-channels method. The ground and continuum states of ^6Li are described by the microscopic α-d cluster model. Forward-angle cross sections are well reproduced. The breakup effect is strongly repulsive so as to shallow by half the too deep double-folded potential.
