Test of the Method of Continuum Discretized Coupled Channel for Deuteron Induced Reactions

Basic assumptions in Continuum Discretized Coupled Channels (CDCC) are numerically tested for deuteron-^<58> system at 80 MeV. Only s-breakup of the deuteron is included. It is found that the assumptions are well justified within the accuracy of practical interest.
