天然物質の血液学的研究(第4報) : 固渋薬の血液凝固・線溶活性成分について

Three Chinese crude drugs, Wuweizi, Wumei and Wubeizi known as Chinese astringent drugs (Kojuyaku) in the traditional Chinese medicine, showed an anticoagulant activity when tested by measuring the blood coagulation time in vitro. Four organic acids, l-malic acid (1), citric acid (2), l-monomethyl citrate (3) and protocatechic acid (4) were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of Wuweizi, two organic acids 1 and 2 from the ethyl acetate extract of Wumei and a gallotannin, penta-O-galloyl-β-D-glucoside (5) from the water extract of Wuweizi. Of them, 1, 2, 3 and 5 showed significant inhibitory effects, whereas 4 exhibited no inhibitory activity on the blood coagulation time. Compound 5 showed an excellent fibrinolysis activity. Discussion is also extended to the structure-antiblood coagulation activity relationship and the structure-flbrinolytic activity relationship.
