Lipases from Candida rugosa (CRL),Pseudomonas cepacia (PCL) and Porcine pancreas (PPL) were found out to have an ability to scissor a Si-O bond in triethylsilyl phenylethyl ether in phosphate buffer (0.1 M, pH7.2) despite that triethylsilyl-oxygen bond was known to be considerably resistant to nucleophilic scission
