頭蓋内転移を起こした膵腺房細胞癌の犬の一例(外科学)

頭蓋内転移を始めとする広範な多臓器転移を起こした膵癌の症例について報告する.症例は11歳の雑種雄犬で,削痩,運動失調,および頸部の多発腫瘍が認められた.運動失調を示したのでMRI検査を実施したところ,頭蓋内の浸潤性増殖により脳幹が圧迫されていた.死後の剖検では,肉眼および組織学的検査により,原発腫瘍は膵左葉に存在し,脳,肺,腎,扁桃,食道の漿膜面,下顎リンパ節,肺門リンパ節,縦隔リンパ節,腸間膜リンパ節など広範な転移が認められた.本症例は,頸部の腫瘤を膵癌の鑑別診断に含めるべきであることを示唆している.
