The Raman spectra of mixed solutions of liquid ammonia-methyl alcohol and liquid ammonia-ethyl alcohol systems have been photographed at room temperature By mixing with liquid ammonia, changes on the C-H and C-O stretching vibrations have been perceived in the case of methyl alcohol and on the C-H stretching vibration, the CH_3 rocking vibration and the OH bending vibration in the case of ethyl alcohol. The changes are assumed to be the effect caused by nitrogen atom of liquid ammonia molecule.
