The high-T_c ceramic superconductors YBa_2Cu_3O_x and BiSrCaCu_2O_x are synthesized through oxidation of master alloy powders produced by mechanical alloying. The oxide YBa_2Cu_3O_x undergoes the superconducting transition at 90 K with a width of about 2 K. The BiSrCaCu_2O_x oxide is found to consist of at least two different superconducting phases with T_c values of 110 and 75 K.
