Validity of ultrasonic diffraction tomography is experimentally investigated with the incorporation of error reduction techniques. Scattering measurement and reconstruction calculations are carried out using weak scattering gelatin cylinders and the strong scattering acrylic rods as the test objects. As a result, it is verified that images can be obtained with high fidelity within the tolerances of practical situations.
