Morphological Effects of Tumor Necrosis Factor-α on the Blood Vessels in Rat Experimental Brain Tumors

ラット移植脳腫瘍へのTNF-αの頚動脈内投与による、腫瘍および腫瘍遠隔脳の血管内皮細胞に対する形態学的変化を検討した。併せて、それらにおけるTNF-α結合部位の発現との関係を検討した。TNF-αの投与により、腫瘍内の血管においては内皮細胞の核および細胞質の腫大を認めたが、腫瘍遠隔脳の血管では内皮細胞に変化を認めなかった。また、腫瘍内の多くの血管でその内皮細胞にTNF-α結合部位の発現を認めたが、腫瘍遠隔脳ではその発現を認めなかった。腫瘍および腫瘍遠隔脳の血管内皮細胞における形態学的変化発現の相違は、血管内皮細胞へのTNF-αの結合能の相違が関係していると考えられた。
