Singularity Formation and Self-Similar Solution in the Magnetically Trapped Bose-Einstein Condensate

We investigate the singularity of the rrtagnetically trapped Bose-Einstein condensate with at-tractive interatomic interactions. By using a model eqttation, three-diznensional attractive non-linear Schr6dinger eqtration with anisotropic harzt?onic potential terms, we show the scaling lawsfor the systena near the singularity. We also discuss the self-similar behavior of the wavefunctionin detail.
