The Quantum Calogero Model and the W-Algebra

The W_∞-algebra is constructed from the Lax operator of the quantum Calogero model. The "generalized" Lax equations for the W-operators are explicitly shown. Due to this finding, all the verifications are extremely simplified. Algebraic construction of the eigenstates of the model is also shown.
