NMR Study of Unusual Magnetic Ordering in the Frustrated Ising Antiferromagnet,CsCoCl_3

Magnetic ordering in the frustrated triangular lattice antiferromagnet, CsCoC13, isstudied by "'Cs NMR experiment. At low temperature below about 5 K, a static fer-rimagnetic phase is realized. As the temperature approaches T..= 9 K, spins on 1 /3of magnetic chains become to reverse their directions instantaneously with very slowrate through the characteristic soliton movement. The rate of spin reversal increasesprogressively as the soliton density increases with increasing temperature. As a cose-quence, the spins on the relevant magnetic chains become to have no measurabletime-averaged moment, resulting in the partially disordered (PD) phase between T..and T..=21 K. The PD phase is found to be stable up to near T... The spins on allchains fluctuate rapidly above T...
