Both field- and temperature-dependences of the magnetization of the fineparticles of d-Cr (A-15 type structure Cr) and of bcc Cr ?rre studied. The J-Crparticles show temperature-independent paramagnetism. 'the bcc Cr particlesshow weak ferromagnetism below 850 K. The feru'omagnetistrt probably originatesin the surface magnetism dtte to the high density of states of electrons at thesurface.
