In order to determine the energy gap of anthrancenc, the temperature change of the electrical conduction in its intrinsic region was measured by DC method for single crystals. For silver paste electrodes, a considerable polarization effect appeared after the application of the electric field. By the extrapolation of the decaying current to the time when the field was applied, the initial current which satisfied the obmic relation was obtained. From this current the conductivity was determind. In the temperature range above 120℃ the intrinsic region with activation energy of 2.8±0.2eV and σ_0 of 1×10^3〜1x10^4Ω^<-1>cm^<-1> was obtained. At the lower temperature range, the activation energy of 0.4〜0.5eV was observed. The region with the lower activation energy seems to the extrinsic one.
