possible Pairing Mechanism and Double Transitions in UPt_3

In response to the recent remarkable Knight shift and the netrtron scattering experiments onUPt3, a pairing mechanism is proposed on the basis of spin fluctuation theory, The proposedmechanism gives a new interpretation of the double transitions, lending further support to ourprevious spin space degenerate scenario xvhere the order pararneter is characterized by a nonuni-tary triplet pairing belonging to one-dimensional representation in weak spin-orbit coupling, Itis found that a novel heavy Fermi liquid state with a bandwidth of xl0 K almost isotropic inspin space must exist near the Fermi surface. Several decisive experiments are pointed out tocheck our proposals.
