The occurrence of high-spin ground states in the strongly correlated electronsystem is clarified in one and two dimensions. Even for infinitesimal Hubbard U, theground state with a spin-polarized Fermi surface periodically arises as the number ofelectrons is varied due to a 'A-space Hund's coupling'. A non-perturbative crossoverto strong U regime, which is accompanied by a series of level crossings and involvesthe stability of the Nagaoka state, is also demonstrated.[Hubbard model, high-spin state, ferromagnetism, Hund's coupling, Nagaoka l[ state, strong correlationl
