The electrical conductivities of liquid Mn and Mn.Te... . alloys were measured byusing a high purity alumina cell in the temperature range up to about 1400'C. Theirconcentration dependence of conductivities exhibited a sharp minimum at thestoichiometric composition MnTe. It suggests that liquid MnTe has the ionic con-figuration of Mn" and Te'- at the composition MnTe. The conductivity of liquidMnTe was about 20.7ohm "cm ' at the melting point and the temperaturedependence of conductivity was found to be exponential with an energy gap of 1.84eV. For liquid Mn, the resistivity p was 199.5 qO-cm at the melting point and itstemperature dependence dp/d7'was about 0.022qQ-cm/K near the melting point.
