It is shown that the motion of the plane rotator model should be described bya set of equations(f'l ='-'O'lJ""C'l'J 91)t '='>'>"'>'>and that the Hamiltonian should beH=Oti/2I* XJtt(1 CDS(Pt P;))-it<JTo this Hamiltonian one can apply the method of molecular dynamics. Forthe case of the nearest zaeighbor interaction, energy-temperature curve is calculatedfor one, two and three dimensions. In one dimension our result agrees well withthe exact solution. In two dimension a sharp peak of specific heat is found atTt-1.1 J/k. In three dimension a singularity is observed at Tx2.2 J/k.
