A 10 .5: 1 Heisenberg antiferromagnet in a magnetic field #(7(-axis) at T=0 isstudied by numerical diagonalizations. It is found that a ph?tse transition exists atH..(=A), where A is the Flaldane gap, and the transverse stag)(ered susceptibility 7;(diverges and the spin correlation is asymptotically<SASH>-( -1)'/" between H..and H..(=4). If the system is quasi-10, even small interchain interactions can makecanting Neel order within a mean field approximation for iutterchain interactions.This is consistent with a recent NMR measurement for NENI' at low temperature.
