The Faraday rotation 0 of a YIG(Y.Fe.0..) single crystal for an He-Ne laserlight (2=632.8 nm) is measured in magnetic fields H up to 45 k0e at temperaturesT from 100 K through the Curie temperature (560 K) to 700 K. The results arewell exrressed bv an ectuation 0=AM.-VDMa-I-(aM#-VdM!)H, where M. andM d are sublattice magnetizations which depend on T and H, and A, D, a and dare constant parameters.
