Magnetic and X-ray analyses have been made can iron selenide with structuresof the subtractive Nips type. In the slowly cooled state, two rnarrow homogeneityfields of 53.3-53.9 at.% So (triclinic) and of 56.=/-57.5 at.'l/ Se (monoclinic) aswell as a two-phase field intervening between the?n are revealed. The Curie tem-petature and compositional variations of lattica: parameters are discussed inconnection with the involved phase transition.
