Magnetization and electrical resistivity measurements on Fe.Se. single crystalspossessing the 3c structure have been carried out in the vicinity of the temperature ofspin axis transition T, (= 133.0 K). In the hard direction which is parallel to the c axisabove T, or in the c plane below T, at a certain value of the applied field dependingupon the temperature a sharp increase of magnetization due to a spin axis flopping wasobserved. At or near T, the resistivity under zero or the applied constant field alsoshowed a discontinuous change of about 2'/. These results strongly suggest that thespin axis transition is of the first order. A discussion on the nature of the transition ismade in terms of the magnetocrystalline anisotropy originating from the ferrous ions inthe lowest degenerate state
