Calorimetric Measurements of Stopping Power of Al and Ni for ^<35>Cl and ^<12>C Ions

Stopping powers of Al and Ni for "Cl and "C ions have been measured bymeans of low temperature calorimetric technique. The energies of ions are 2.83-5.14 MeV/amu for Cl tons in Ni, 7.00-8.75 MeV/amu for C ions in Ni, and 3.34-4.09 MeV/amu for Cl ions in Al. The experimental results have been comparedwith other measurements, semi-empirical tabulations and theoretical calculations.The Bethe formula with the Zf correction term and the Bloch correction termorovides the best fit to the exoerimental data.
