^<63>Cu and ^<65>Cu NMR in a Single Crystal of K_2CuF_4

The angular der>endences of "Cu and "Cu NMR frequencies in a singlecr>'stal of a ferromasnetic K2CLIF4 with an external field of 1.4 T at 1.2 K weremeasured carefully. The spectrum showed a strong anisotropy, which is charac-teristic to the Jahn-Teller cu" tons. To analyse the spectrum, we solved theei:en value rroblem exactlv and determined the values of the nuclear spin Hamil-tonian parameters, The asymmetry parameter of the hyperfine field was largerthan that of the electric field gradient. This result was consistent with the calculatedone based on the one ion model. By changing the direction of the external field,some resonance lines disappeared and the other lines appeared. Such 'cross-over'phenomena could be understood qua[itativeIy, by considering the angular depend-ences of their transition probabilities.
