NX7e propose approxiunate zauetlaods to handle the thernaal spherical wave (SW) effects in singleand znultiple scattering BXAFS spectra, and also in ftrll untrltiple scattering XANES spectra. In EXAFS region multiple scattering renorrnalization is not itaaportant, and xve apply tlae path-by-path techniqtre and the separable fornaulas of tlae f'ree pr'opagator in angular moraaenttrmrepresentation. The single scattering tlaertaa?t1 SXV EXAFS f'utactions give rise to the phase dif-ference frotaa the PW EXAFS ftrnctions. On the other hand iru the dotrble scattering EXAFS thetherunal SW efl'ects are qtrite sttuall botla in tlae auatplittrdes arad the phases. In cotutrast to tireEXAFS, it is irnportant to renorraaalize the f'ull rntrltiple scattering series in XANES araalyses.NVe asstrrne the randonu phase cancellation for cross prodtrcts of coraaplicated taatrltiple scatteritagternas, which enables us to renorunalize the uratrltiple scattering series ?xnd greatl5' sitaaplifies thefinite temperattrre XANES forunttla.
