Indefinite-Metric Quantum Field Theory of General Relativity. XII : Extended Superalgebra and Its Spontaneous Breakdown

The sixteen-dimensional Poincare-like superalgebra found previously in the manifestly-covariant canonical formalism of quantum gravity is extended to a higher-dimensional one when matter fields involve a massless neutral scalar field and/or the electromagnetic field. The identities of the Ward-Takahashi type and the consistency conditions are analyzed for the spontaneously broken symmetry generators of this extended superalgebra. It is found that there is remarkable universality for the wave-function renormalization constants of the massless fields.
