In the manifestly covariant canonical operator formalism of quantum gravity, there is a remarkable supersymmetry, called "choral symmetry", among spacetime, B-field, FP ghost and FP antighost, in spite of the fact that spacetime alone is c-number while the others are q-number functions of it. Even if the roles of some components of spacetime and the corresponding ones of FP ghost are interchanged, it is shown that the theory can still be well formulated and that choral symmetry is rederived. It is suggested that the spacetime concept should be reduced to the field concept in the ultimate theory.
