A theoretical study is made on the mechanism of the nuclear magnetic spin-lattice relaxation in solid ortho-hydrogen below T_λ. The predominant mechanism assumed is the inelastic scattering of the rotational excitation waves by the nuclear magnetic moment of ortho-hydrogen. The calculation of the thermal transition probability and relaxation time T_1 is carried out following the same line as in the case of antiferromagnetics. The temperature dependence of T1 is obtained numerically. The result shows that T_1≃10〜100 sec at T_λ.
