The most important results obtained through a series of the present authors' studies on the bosonic versions of the infinite-U impurity- and lattice-Anderson models with use of the rigorous expansion with respect to inverse power of the spin-orbit degeneracy N (1/N- expansion) are reviewed and their physical implications are discussed in comparison with the results obtained in the other 1/N-expansion studies as well as their relating experimental observations.
