A Comment on Spontaneous Breaking of Chiral Symmetry

概要

Making use of the vacuum stability condition, we derive a restriction for the spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry in a kind of gauge model of weak, electromagnetic and strong interactions. It is shown that any spontaneous breaking of strong interaction symmetry does not break down the natural conservations of 〓, 〓, 〓, etc. This fact also shows that the domain structure discussed by Dashen and Mathur-Okubo does not arise in gauge theory of quark-gluon system.
