Discrete symmetries which guarantee the natural vanishing of masses of first generation fermions and Cabibbo angle in the zeroth order are discussed in the framework of the standard SU(2)×U(1) gauge model. Then a model with specific discrete symmetrics is presented. The model explains not only the approximate chiral SU(2)_L×SU(2)_R invariance but the smallness of electron mass and Cabibbo angle.
