On the basis of discrete symmetries in addition to the SU(2)×U(1) gauge symmetry, we construct a model which naturally incorporates the approximate chiral SU(2)×SU(2) symmetry of strong interaction as well as smallness of electron mass. The model contains three generations of fermions and five Higgs doublets. The Higgs structure of the model is considerably different from that of the standard model.
