• To investigate the exchange current in the time component of the axial current, we study the 0^+-0^-transitions in the A = 16 nuclei. Corrections to the conventional treatment of the one-body processes are examined. The importance of non-soft-pion exchange currents is re-evaluated with ρ-meson exchange included.
